I’m considering organising an ICE Summer social cycle around the leafy lanes of Essex and its environs and am wondering what appetite there might be…
Am thinking a minimally organised ride – so no signage or marshalling – so just a group or two of people out for a social ride.
Thinking donation’s of £5 -£10 ‘entry fee’ to ICE Benevolent fund maybe?
Start at Stansted Mountfitchet so good road links for people from all parts?
Circular route/s returning to start?
Open to anyone who wants to come along?
Options on routes as per possible map below with blue ~ 25 miles, with red ~45 miles, and full circle ~60 miles?
Coffee or lunch stop in Saffron Waldon?
Thinking early / mid July on a sat or sun maybe 6/7 or 13/14 Jul?
What do people think?
