Essex Sunset – Right Place Right Time

After a long but enjoyable day touring the East of England looking at construction project entries for an awards competition I was travelling home and enjoying an ever increasingly dramatic sunset over London.  I was coming off the M25 at the A127 junction and managed to find an ideal spot to capture the last of the sunset and the backlit sky once the sun had dropped below the horizon.

The photos were taken on my Samsung S3 using an HDR app which makes for dramatic shots but unfortunately it was extremely windy so they are not as well constructed as I would have like and therefore best seen in a small format.  Below are some of the better ones in the order they were taken. Enjoy.

    1. Cheers Mike. they don’t pass close inspection but seen like this they’re okay. Need to actually take some exposure bracketed pics with the 35mm camera and do some proper HDR overlays in Photoshop or similar 🙂
