LOSS 10K today. I had entered but decided given that I am doing my first Half Marathon next Sunday and am rather prone to injury at the moment that I would not take part. My place wasn’t wasted and I still went down to support and to take some photos – as I like to do.
It was a grey and damp morning but the rain barely got going so it wasn’t bad running weather to be honest. I took over 600 photos from a number of vantage points and am pleased with the results. The race was won by Ben Frankles (@Ben_Frankles) by some margin.
I’ve included a selection of photos below. Loads more online in 3 albums as per links below:
Album 1 – Shots of runners coming over the bridge off Two Tree Island by Leigh Station
Album 2 – Shots of runners coming down the hill before turning left toward Old Leigh
Album 3 – Shots of runners crossing the finishing line
The online photos are relatively low-res. If anyone wants high res versions then email me at email@example.com and I’ll email them for a small charity donation on my just giving page for the Nike Run to the Beat Half Marathon that I am doing next Sunday > www.justgiving.com/Noynek05
