Once again I took my trust Nikon out yesterday into the cold and mud – but thankfully sunny – Essex countryside to photograph friends old and new as they ran around a muddy field or two. On this occasion it was the 3rd running of the Hadleigh Legacy 2012 10K race organised by Castle Point Joggers Running Club. The race takes the form of a couple of circuits of the 2012 Olympic Mountain Biking Circuit in Hadleigh Country Park and so contains some pretty steep ups and equally steep downs…
I was there principally to take some pics of some of the guys and gals from the Flyers Southend group of which I am a (currently non-running) member but as usual if I’m taking a few photos I may as well take a load. As a result I managed just under 2,000 (like you do).

I was surprised to learn that despite appearances to the contrary – I did see a group of chaps with pro gear when I turned up – there was no official photographers and so I don’t feel at all awkward about sharing all my photos.
After a quick recce of the course I decided on taking some photos on one of the uphill sections early in the race when everyone was still feeling fit before moving across the valley to take some on a downhill stretch on the second lap. I then took a small number up near the finish. You may have clocked me – I was the one on the floor with the yellow and black bobble hat! I was really pleased with the results in the end.
So enough of this waffle – you are here for the photos so see below and fill your boots.
I have uploaded pretty much all the photos I took – smiles and grimaces and all – to my google+ site into 4 albums. These photos are all low res max of 1200px and they can be downloaded and used freely for social media without restriction. Always nice to get a mention as the photographer and I’d rather you don’t crop my name off but that’s up to you. You are not permitted to gain any financial benefit from the use of these photos.
If you like the photos then tell me! If you would like to have higher resolution photos or are interested in montages or combined photos then email me at NOYNEK99@GMAIL.COM telling me what you are after and I’ll let you know the cost but it won’t be onerous.
So here are the albums. There are 500 or photos so in each album and you need to do the searching to find yourself. If you want high res photos then make a note of the album number and photo number or the actual photo file number.

You can also link to these albums via my sport photography blog page where you can see more examples of my work – and I may well have photographed you in the past so take a look! Have a butchers too at my Photography Products page too which gives an example of a montage I put together from the Benfleet 15 last weekend.
I’ve included below a selection of the photos so you get a flavour of whats on offer.
Enjoy!
