A few photos taken in and around Gloucester cathedral when I was there over the weekend. Not been there for years having grown up in the area but lived in Southend now for 20 years plus. Most are HDR on my phone and so best viewed small hence no link to bigger versions. A couple …

Essex Sunset – Right Place Right Time
After a long but enjoyable day touring the East of England looking at construction project entries for an awards competition I was travelling home and enjoying an ever increasingly dramatic sunset over London. I was coming off the M25 at the A127 junction and managed to find an ideal spot to capture the last of …

Am thinking a minimally organised ride - so no signage or marshalling - so just a group or two of people out for a social ride. Thinking donation's of £5 -£10 'entry …
Thurrock Thameside Nature Park
With the family in tow I finally got to visit the Thurrock Thameside Nature Park near Stanford-le-Hope in Essex this morning and jolly good an outing it was too. The park is on a small corner of the Cory landfill site near Mucking and is not that easy to find if you don't know where …
