Inspiring future engineers at Belfairs Academy

A couple of weeks ago I spent the day at my daughters school – Belfairs Academy in Westcliff – supporting their careers fair.  I was there in my capacity as a STEM Ambassador / Chartered Civil Engineer representing the industry as a whole but I was also representing my employer Taylor Woodrow and the wider Vinci group.

Bluebell 5

This morning I spent a few hours in the glorious surroundings of Tile Wood near Rayliegh taking photographs of people taking part in the Bluebell 5 – a 5 mile trail run through the Little Haven Nature Reserve raising funds for Havens Hospices.

Trifarm Essex

This morning I paid a visit to Trifarm – a purpose built open water swimming lake and triathlon centre near Boreham in Essex.  This was my first visit there and it was not to use the facilities but to play taxi to my daughter who was having an open water swimming lesson there.
